Mouse Sensivity

Hello, i finally got RO running (private server) and everything works pretty much perfectly; except for some scrolling issues but it's noting major. However, there is a problem that i am having with the mouse sensitivity. Is there anything that can be done to increase it or boost the acceleration? It's way to slow for my comforts and kinda makes the game a bit hard to play for me.

honestly, ive always messed with RO, but never seen this...
however i have seen this in other games, my guess is its either somethign with the server, or most likely with you...(as in 'slow' pc)
in most situations like this, i just advise people to try Wine instead, wine runs a few games with less lag then cxgames, but sometimes... with worst graphics support also.

give it a go ok.

;)

How did you manage to get it to work? I'm curious as I can't seem to get mine to work. Oh and mouse sensitivity issues could be related to the mouse freedom version you're using.

I would have to agree. I got mine up and running fairly well, but as soon as I'm in game, OS X gives up its mouse sensitivity settings and the mouse takes al least 3 full "pick up and drop" movements to get it across the screen. Impossible to play like that

Its not a lag issue, not a speed or FPS setting, but one where we have no control over the in-game mouse speeds. RO setup doesn't seem to include a mouse slider, and we don't have access to the windows control panel in Crossover as far as I can tell..

How do we adjust mouse speed in crossover then?

I don't see much of a problem with mouse speeds, i see more of a problem with mouse click reactions/etc. At times it'll only take one click, or then it might take more to just simply move or click on an NPC. But this could probably work fine with an external keyboard and mouse, just the extra stuff to play a game probably isn't something someone would normally like to deal with.

What I'm starting to notice so far from the new Cross Over Professional 9.0 is that the mouse reaction seems highly fixed, and very tolerable, without an actual click of the touch pad, you'll need to touch it twice, etc. ( Depending on your touch settings. ) But clicking and moving reaction is a lot better than it was back in 8.14.
Thank you Cross over Staff <3
