The plug-in doesn't work

When I let Crossover install QuickTime, it installs version 7.1.3 which contains a plug-in that's known to be broken in Firefox, so it is automaticly disabled by Firefox. So I installed version 7.6 manually, but the plug-in still doesn't work. It also does not work in native Firefox. It would be nice if QuickTime support could be fixed, cause I can't seem to get the Apple keynote to work with MPlayer.

I have the exact same problem. Updated my 64bit system to openSuSE11.1 and using Firefox 3, KDE4.2/Konqueror. Neither one will run a quicktime plugin. I used my current version of Cross Over 6.1. Is this issue fixed in the latest 7.1 release so can use QuickTime Version 7.6?
