Why?

Am I the only one that finds it strange and riduculous that Apple created programs are in this list? Programs like iTunes and Quicktime not only have their own native versions for Mac, but there were created by Apple!!!! Why would you want to run a windows version of these programs through some kind of emulation software when they have their own native versions that will alway out perform emulated ones? Am I missing something here? Oh and they are all free for download and use!

Google Earth is anothe example of a free program that is available for mac... no need to emualte or "cross it over"

Why? Well, because CrossOver is also available for Linux users who would like to use things such as iTunes or Quicktime. Our Linux users also use these forums.

And it is also useful for software that uses Quicktime as a third party program such as Sorenson Squeeze.
