I no longer get the WebView install message, but when I launch Quicken I now get a brief message saying that Quicken is not currently the application configured for Web Connect and then it crashes. I have downloaded the absolut latest version of Quicken as well as reinstalled Linux.
I never had any problems before the WebView install issue. It must have something to do with the automatic Quicken upgrades. Would appreciate any ideas as to how to resolve this!
I'm having similar issues with Quicken 2018. Quicken opens, then after a minute crashes. Does not open any files. Tried reinstalling but after updates, crashes the same as before. Have you figured out what is wrong?
I had this same problem, and I think my old bottle was corrupted. I reinstalled with the default settings, and then I hit the Webview2 problem. I then reinstalled again into a new Windows 7 bottle (the current default is Win10, and it says Win7 is unsupported, but that's what I was using before) and everything works great. The quicken.exe installed I downloaded from quicken.com was R48.something, and it updated itself to R50.16 and is running beautifully now.
