Quicken 2020 will not launch due to WebView2 Runtime

With June 2023 Quicken update, when attempting to launch Quicken I get this message now: "Quicken cannot load this page because WebView2 Runtime is not installed. Click OK to download the installer."

I have not been able to successfully install the WebView2 Runtime installer. I get the following error: "Failed to cache the downloaded installer. Error 0x800b0109."

They are working on it. I informed them it has been not working since the last update. They have not given a time line when it will be working again. I have asked. I have spent at least 10 hours trying different ways to get it to work with no luck. Hope they have a solution soon since I cannot anything for over 6 days now.

Who's working on it, Quicken or CodeWeavers?

I hope they get it fixed soon. Since Quicken's last update, I've had to use my laptop in dual boot to run Micro$uck Windows to use Quicken.

Crossover

Also known as Codeweaver. I have not set up a duel boot so I have been waiting since last Sat.

Quicken Deluxe Version DR50.8 Build 27.1.50.9 - Microsoft Windows 11
Crossover 22.1.1 on Debian 11 Bullseye

Everything still working without issue. As noted previously: In the bottle control panels > Wine Configuration, Graphics tab I enabled Emulate a Virtual Desktop. I found this "fixed" or otherwise eliminated some of the visual aspects. I'm not completely happy with this mode, but it's way less hassle.

Weather is the Win 11 and/or Virtual Desktop - Quicken still functions (opening and closing)

No issues

I reinstalled into a Windows 7 bottle (the current default is Win10, and it says Win7 is unsupported, but that's what I was using before) and everything works great. The quicken.exe installed I downloaded from quicken.com was R48.something, and it updated itself to R50.16 and is running beautifully now.

I'm on Crossover 22.0.1 on a Mac (Intel)

Quicken 2020 on Pop!_OS has the same problems as the other Linux distributions. I reported this with screenshots and logs on June 22 and received no ETA for resolution. Using the Virtual Desktop strategy mentioned above resulted in a very poor user experience.

Oddly, moving the downloaded installer into the Bottle and running it from there results in an error message but has increased the chances that the application will run. When it does, it works as well as it used to before this update issue started.
Intermittent success is still success.
