Quicken 37.62 (64) on Mac OS 12.1 CX 21.1 quits

I have discovered a minor inconvenience with CX and Quicken. When I start Quicken, I get the Quicken menu File Help, then it flashes the Quicken update check, then full Quicken menu File Edit View … Help, then the menu will vanish, and, then Quicken quits. Sometimes, I have to start it 2 or 3 times before it will startup.

I am running on a Macbook Air M1, with Mac OS 12.1, CX 21.1, and Quicken 37.62. Quicken has since updated to 37.64 with same symptoms. This is with Quicken 2020 (W7 bottle). It was working fine until I updated from Big Sur to Monterey. Unfortunately, after the update Quicken updated also, so not sure which made the change.

I have always been able to get Quicken to start, but it is a little disconcerting with this critical piece of software.

As a side note once done and exited Quicken, I have to quit CX twice to exit it.

Hi folks,

That update might have been pulled - I'm only able to update to R36.57, and I don't see any issues there.

Best,
Meredith

Hi all.

I'm trying to get Quicken for Windows running since my Quicken for Mac is missing some investment features I need. Sort-of working but a problem.

Setup:
2021 16" MacBook Pro M1 Pro
Monterey 12.5 Beta
Crossover 21.2.0.33926 (trial)
Quicken Premiere R41.19, Build 27.1.41.19
Windows 11

The install went fine and I started with a new/empty Quicken file. I added my checking account and the login in and it synced ok but only had the current balance. So, I followed the directions, logged into the bank site and downloaded a QFX file and then Import Transactions From Bank Website. I select the file and Continue and it says it's importing but then crashes.

Years ago, I used CrossOver just to run Quicken when there was no usable Mac version and it worked great. Any ideas? Would contacting CodeWeavers support help?

Thanks,

David
