Updating Quicken 2020 - Best Practices?

Hi All-

I noticed that when I launch Quicken, that it attempts to perform an update. Unfortunately, I'm never quite sure if that is working or not. Nor am I certain if the update that happens when "One Step Update" is performed to pull down bank transactions.

So I guess my question is: Is there a best practice around updating Quicken 2020 in CrossOver?

Thanks in Advance! 😊

Hi Evan,

To the best of my knowledge, updates are working well in CrossOver. To confirm a version update, you can always go to "About Quicken" to see the version you are running.

With all of that said, I will just mention that the latest Quicken update (R36.23) is causing trouble for CrossOver. We have a fix planned for the CrossOver 21.1 release which will be released later this year, and in the meantime you can always enter a support ticket to get help in advance of the release.

Best,
Meredith

I'm using Q2020 Premier R36.38 (the latest, I assume) without any particular problems except for unusual battery drain.
