Quicken Classic Forum

I am currently running Quicken 2020(? - I assume... it's R35.31 if that helps) on CrossOver 21.0 (21.0.0.33720) on a 2019 16-inch Intel MacBook Pro, but after the most recent Apple event, I purchased a 16-inch MacBook Pro M1 Max, which is due to arrive in mid to late November.

Now that the M1 Macs have had a year to proliferate in the market, and how has the compatibility been with crossover? It sounds like if we have version 21, we should be OK, but I wanted to verify first.

So therefore my question is multi-part:

• How is the compatibility/performance with CrossOver?
• And how is the compatibility with Quicken?
• Any gotchas or issues we should know about surrounding migration or installation?

I'd be interested to know about other folks' experiences with the migration to any flavor of M1 machine. I am planning on just using Migration Assistant to move to my new machine, if that helps, and I pretty much only use CrossOver for Quicken at this point.

I got some very encouraging information from the CodeWeavers support team that indicated that I should be OK with the move to M1 with CrossOver and Quicken, so I'm looking forward to the new machine's arrival.

I just wanted to report back and give an update that my MacBook Pro 16-inch M1 Max arrived, and I did the migration with Time Machine. Everything went pretty smoothly, and the great news is that CrossOver and Quicken 2020 worked just fine. I'm good to go.
