Quicken 2019 runs but does not activate

Used the new crosstie and the program runs but I'm unable to get the activation to work. Just gets caught in a loop. No error message either.

Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Hi John,

Have you rebooted your computer and still having the issue. I just installed Quicken Premier 2019 using the Quicken 2018 installation. At first it would not allow me into the activation/registration screen, but I rebooted my MacBook and it allowed me to complete the registration and also converted my 2017 Home and Business to 2019 Premier if anyone is interested.

Yes, I've rebooted multiple times and I still can't get Quicken to activate.

My host is a Linux machine so that might shed some light on the root of the problem.

Is anyone else able to run Quicken 2019 on a Linux based PC with Crossover 18?

I just downloaded and installed Quicken 2019 Premier version. The software showed as having been successfully installed and the new bottle successfully created, however, when I click the icon for the new version in the new bottle, the program does not open. I rebooted the computer but still the program doesn't open. It seems perhaps CrossOver is not finding the correct exe file to open it? Anyone else had problems with Quicken 2019 like this? Thanks for any insights. Duane

Just installed Quicken 2019, and it will not open. Installation seemed to go normally and completed with all indications that there were no problems. This issue has been reported here for almost 6 months. Any solutions out there? Thanks

I installed Quicken 2019 Premier today with no problems in installation, activation, or use. I am running Crossover 18.5.0 under Linux Mint 19.1 with the Cinnamon desktop. I did a fresh install into a new bottle.

I've installed Quicken 2019 and it runs. However, as of the most recent update, I get the error message

"Failed to resolve function GetCurrencyFormatEx in KERNEL32.dll"

And after this error the program closes.

Hi Eric,

Which version of Quicken and CrossOver are you using? As of the R19.52 release, this bug was resolved in CrossOver 18.5 and only impacted older versions of CrossOver.

I'm continuing to run Quicken - Deluxe 2019 R22.12 build 27.1.22.12 on crossover 18.5.0-1
Debian 10 Buster stable

No big issues with 2019, sadly had issues with past version - thank you CodeWeavers!

I've installed Quicken 2019 Home & Business v. R24.11 build 27.1.24.11 on Linux Mint 19.3 Tricia with the latest, just purchase Crossover. It installed fine and I'm able to launch it. After launch, it briefly shows the contents of the quicken file but then it immediately asks me to sing in - "Welcome to Quicken What is Quicken ID? The Quicken ID is used to access all Quicken applications, Quicken Mobile and Quicken.com. Installing Quicken on another computer? Sign in with the same Quicken ID and password you used to sign in to your first computer."

I would gladly do but it is not displaying sign-in fields as it normally would on a Windows PC. Any ideas?
