Quicken 2018 Forum

Hoping against hope that someone can help me be successful with the trial version of Crossover Linux for Quicken 2018, so I can confirm it works, purchase it, and ditch my W7 VM :).

Using Quicken 2018, running through Crossover Linux (latest as of yest) on Ubuntu 16.04, install goes smoothly until the stage of "Installing .NET 2.0 framework", at which point the GUI just stalls on progress bar (12+ hours), nothing useful written to the install log, and is on a Google Fiber link (so no download speed issues).

I'm familiar with Linux, haven't spent any time w/ WiNE / similar.

Any suggestions appreciated!

I use .NET 2.0 for other things in a Win 7 64-bit bottle and never had an issue ...so lets start with what type of bottle you are using as in is it 32 bit or 64 bit and what version of windows

have you add 32 bit support yet if not add it with the terminal

Having trouble with dependencies during installation? Make sure apt knows about 32bit libraries:

sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386; sudo apt-get update

I just looked up the cross tie mine by default is Win 7 and its a 32 bit bottle ...... I do not own or have this software to test
