Quicken 2011 Forum

I have Quicken 2011 Deluxe R4 up and running in an XP bottle. The only major problem is that attempting to Print Checks or even set Check Printer preferences will lock up both Quickbooks and Crossover. Minor problems include the need to double-click in places where a single click should suffice and the colors of the graphs not corresponding to the color in the legend for the associated item.

Anyway, I just started up Quicken and got a pop-up stating that revision R5 was available. So, I gave it a try -- allowing the program to self-install the update and it worked perfectly (so far). The progress bar cycled through the download progress to 100% about five times and it took probably 5-10 minutes to complete. Fortunately, I just let it do its thing and the update installed without a hitch!

Automatic update to Release R 7 also went without a problem. This is under Crossover 9.2.

I updated to R7 and I am having the problem with freezing for printing checks or print setup. All other printing seems to work fine. Any suggestions?

I've tried quite a few things, but with no luck as far as check printing or setup. Tried changing default printers, using CUPS-PDF as default and tweaked with a few of the dll settings, but all with no luck. I guess we'll keep trying things until Codeweavers takes on this particular DLL.
