Quicken 2007 Forum

Hi everyone,

I'm completely new to the Crossover thing, but I'm excited by the possibilities. As a long time Quicken H&B user, I've been trying to set it up on my Mac. Overall it seems to work OK (with some slow screen redraws), but one thing I'm having trouble with is exporting my invoices as PDFs. Most of my clients prefer getting a PDF as an email attachment so this is important to me. I just can't seem to get this working with Crossover. Does anyone have any experience doing this, or have any suggestions? Many thanks.

I use Ubuntu Linux and what I would recommend is that you print the invoice to a pdf creater. I don't have a make but in Linux I have set up CUPS to print to a pdf instead of a printer. So when I want to save paper I simply choose the PDF printer and that automatically prints the document to PDF and store the PDF on my hard drive.

There's a third-party freeware program, CUPS-PDF, which creates a virtual printer in the Mac's printing system. That virtual printer creates a PDF file when you print to it, rather than really printing to paper.
