I just bought quicken 06 Home & Buisness as a downloadable file. But I have not been able to insall it. Ive spent several hours with quicken support but nothing works. I have Windows XP Professional Edition SP2. I have tried to install it in a safe mode, to install it winziping it, etc. Do you have an idea of what can I do? It always apperar a message error 1602 or 1601. Iam desperate.
Yes, there is a very simple solution to this. First, you need to go to http://www.ubuntu.com and order their cd. When the cd arrives, you need to put it in the cd-rom drive and reboot your computer. When your computer reboots, install ubuntu linux over windows. Then, purchase and install crossover office and run quicken 2006 in a real operating system.

Actually, I run Gentoo (I love the BSD derived portage system). However, I do believe that Ubuntu is a better choice for most people looking for a desktop environment. The missing text thing could be some graphical glitches with CXO running Quicken. I have some graphical issues which prevent me from being able to rebalance my portfolio. These few, small graphical issues are the only thing keeping me from rating Quicken as gold in CXO.
