Works

This application installs and runs fine under Crossover Office!!

You just need to choose Quickbooks 2000 from the installation menu.
It will install, reboot and cXoffice will automatically finish, there is no need to click the "Install Complete" button.

If you get errors during the reboot, just uninstall cxoffice, and delete your .cxoffice directory from your home folder, reinstall cxoffice, and reinstall QuickBooks Pro 2002.

i havent figured it out yet, but sometimes it installs fine, and others give errors during the reboot. It may take a couple reinstalls, but it will go in.

Im using cXoffice 2.1.0 and Fedora Core 1.

There are some minor graphics issues, such as the navigation buttons in any of the modules (invoice, payroll, etc..) being covered up, but if you know the software, you know where to click anyway.

I have submitted screenshots of all of the modules I use, and they all work great (minus the graphic flaws). I have printed payroll, and several invoices under Linux, with no problems at all....

I will continue to update here, as I find new issues.

Thanks!

CJ

Were you able to do a web update or register the software? I have quickbooks 2001 pro and neither of these functions work. So far this is a show stopper for me as I need some of the updates offered. If 2002 works better I may have to find an updated version. Thanks for your comments.

I was able to do the web update in this version. I have just recently upgraded to QBPro2004 I am fixing to install it, and will report on it as well.

ubb3r linux newB here and looking to dump M$ from my small business completly.

for a total newB, how easy is this to configure for programs like QB, pagemaker, and M$ office?

i am glad to hear that QB 2002pro runs under this software, and am interested in your 2004, as we are looking to upgrade our QB either this year or next.

thanks for the info.

I installed QB 2002 Pro and it seemed to install OK. Got it registered. Downloaded the updates but it doesn't seem to update when the program exits. What did you do to force the updates to be applied?
