QfG5 Game works except movies

I seem to have gotten the game working, can create a character and move around, but I can't seem to get the movies to work. I tried editing values with regedit as in another thread, and installing quicktime. Nothing I've tried gets the movies to play. Has anyone had any success with this I can try to replicate?
