Disclaimer: I'm now to Wine and CrossOver, so bear with me.
I downloaded a trial CrossOver Mac 6.1.0 to see if the latest Quartus II would run. The installation starts and everything appears to run fine, but after the installation the installer exits (as normal), CrossOver appears hard at work for 5-10 min and then exits. Unfortunately Quartus does not appear in the CrossOver applications folder.
Anyone with more luck?
I just tried Quartus 7.2 Web Edition with a demo version of Crossover. After the Quartus installer completes I can see under the Programs menu item:
Altera->Quartus II 7->Quartus II 7.2 Web Edition
Altera->Quartus II 7->Quartus II 7.2 Web Edition Megawizard Plug-in Manager

Selecting the Quartus II 7.2 Web Edition item gives a Quartus II icon in the dock for a few seconds, but then the icon disappears and nothing runs. But some things actually do work. Selecting the Quartus II 7.2 Web Edition Megawizard Plug-in Manager item brings up the MegaWizard just like it should.
