Quake4 using Crossover 17.0.0

With Crossover 17.0.0, I was able to install and run the game by installing it into a Windows 7 bottle. You need to additionally select 'DirectX for modern games' for installation. The installation proceeds without any problems, but it may be slow enough to make you believe the installation has stalled; just be patient. It would be nice to have a crosstie for this game.

Update the game with the 1.4.2 Full Patch for Windows; no intermediary patches are necessary and this updates teh game to the most current Windows version.

The native-Linux installer is getting old and there may be problems running it with any recent Linux kernel.
