Hardware Texture Compression Support Not being detected?

Hello Alan,

Its me again. The first guy to be complaining of the infamous black screen.. on these forums anyway.

well I have a new issue.

I patched LOTRO awhile ago and tried to launch the game, and got this message:

"Hardware Texture Compression Support Not Detected. This feature is needed to run the game."

I haven't been able to play since. What is going on??? This never used to happen.....
