Hello!

I'm pretty new to mac and wine hq / cw (i got a macbook about 1 and half yr ago) and i tried to run PQ2 because i ran it on my PC and this is my favorite game ever.

So what is happening: i can install it thru wine hq and after i try to run it, its asking me to choose language when i choose english and then PQ icon appears on my dock, its bouncing 3 or 4 times then it dissapears like nothing happened...
Interesting because PQ2 got a gold medal. I also play Guild Wars in wine hq and it runs smoothly.

Ive read the other topics but there are a lot things i cant understand so if im a newbie or spamming this section than srry and delete this topic but if u can help me i would really appriciate it.

The game requires some additional runtime dependencies installed into
the same bottle, specifically...;

You may also need to enable 'emulated virtual desktop' in the Graphics tab

Well still have problems... 1th is i tried to install those with crosstie but firefox has no idea what to do with it. So i tried to install manually these into the bottle. 1 of them failed because i tried to install dx9c, went smootly but crossover didnt add it into the bottle.

So i think everything would work (i mean hope so) just cant put dx into the bottle :(

well im using Crossover Professional v 9.2.0.
Is it a problem that im not using Crossover Games?

Hi again,

More than likely -- if you own Pro, you can download and install Crossover Games
(register it with the same credentials you used for Pro) and it should work. You
still need to install the dependencies above, but they are actually available as
install tagers as well in the crossover install GUI (in community supported apps
& runtime support components). If firefox doesn't know what to do, just download
the crossties -> right click -> open with crossover install or such...

Except 2 things: i cant hear the sound effects and the game is a bit laggy... any medicines for these?
