How to get it to work on macOS Catalina?

I've tried multiple times to get PS Now working on my 2013 MacBook Air on the latest macOS Catalina, but without results. Can anyone please share the exact steps to get a working environment? Thanks!

Did you install visual c++ 2013? Otherwise it won't work.

Hi Simone, first thing first I'm creating a new bottle with the PS Now install exe (which isn't listed on Crossover) and I do the full installation. Upon finishing I untick the option to start the app right after. Then I'm installing Visual C++ 2013 inside the PS Now bottle (just the 32bit version as the bottle automatically created for PS Now is 32bit only it seems).
After that, if I try to open the PlayStation Now executable inside the bottle, I'm getting a "message window" stating that I'm running the app on a virtual machine and that's probably not supposed to work. If I click "Ok" that window closes for a moment, then it reappears endlessly.

EDIT: Actually, if I install Visual C++ 2013 directly from Crossover (instead of using one of my executable) I'm able to start it after that message appears for a 2nd time! Hooray!

The message that complains about the virtual machine is "normal" just press ok... These are the steps I followed to install ps now on linux mint 19.3:I've created a clean 32 bit bottle and I set the compatibility to windows 7; I've Installed visual c++ 2013 first then installed psnow. I tried right now and it worked. I posted my test result 5 minutes ago in the compatibility center.

:) Enjoy your playstation games. bye

I unintentionally tried PS Now without excepting it run over the holidays and it was the same when it actually did
Hooray! Eureka! :)

Does on Catalina DS4 work with touchpad support or PS Now shows the message that some PS4 games require touchpad and are best played with Dualshock 4?

I managed to finish GoW on Sierra before it leaved the store but it didn't required me to use the touchpad. For Uncharted I skipped the touchpad map on PS4 than finished the game on Mac (You really don't need that map to enjoy the game) but it would be less hassles if it's working directly in CrossOver.

Yes, I got the message about the need to use compatible controllers (like a DS4) while starting a game and I'm using a DualShock 3. I don't have a DS4 nor a PS4 and I was fortunately been able to play and finish God of War the last month on a Bootcamp partition (now removed). That first play-through of Uncharted 4 where you need to use the touchpad to open the map has stopped me from being able to play that game (now removed from the service btw) 😭

The only thing that I'd like to do though is being able to change that graphical setting inside the PS Now app (right click on the icon on the upper-right corner and select Graphics Settings), where I'd want to only use the power of my connection instead of relying also on the Intel HD 5000.. this is because fans are getting louder and I also get some graphical glitches while playing with this setting turned on (it happened also on a proper Windows partition).
