Running but not drawing walls/floors

Just grabbed this from Steam. Enabling UseGLSL got me past the hardware requirements screen, and the game launched fine. The opening movies played properly and the menus work fine. It even draws the characters and seems to play acceptably, but I can't see any walls or floors at all.

Since this is Prince of Persia, that's not very good. I've fiddled with the registry a bit to no avail, anyone have any suggestions?

Hi,

The answer to this (if any) is likely going to be specific to
which platform/OS{version}/videocard you are using (and if linux,
which videocard drivers) -- you'd best provide that info first...

...also, what other registry hacks have you tried besides or in
combination with UseGLSL ?

Cheers!

Yeah, guess I should've thought to provide that kind of information. :o

I'm running Crossover Games 9.1.0 on Mac OS 10.6.4. I'm using an iMac with an ATI Radeon X1600 with 128MB of VRAM.

I've tried tweaking the OffScreenRenderingMode, DirectDrawRenderer, and I've also given it a specific number in VideoMemorySize since the game seemed to be assuming I had less than I did.

Hi again,

Okidoki...this will be related to the X1600 and it's drivers
at a first guess -- although an entirely different title, see
the following thread where another user and I tried to torment
the x1600 into doing something...and eventually won the battle
in the end, but the x1600 didn't have enough GPU power to make
the game playable <grin>...but...it should put you 'in the ball
park' of things to try...;

Hope that helps...

Cheers!
