Working great in linux with CXG 7.2.2/8.x.x/9.0

An old but good point'n'click strategy/adventure type game.
Took a bit of hard work toothpasting the cd media back into
readable state, so I'm glad it actually works after all that...

Installs correctly as an unsupported game, into it's own
bottle using the win98 profile. Runs very well, with no
apparent glitches found thus far. A silver at first glance.

Do NOT install the directx-8.1 included on the disk!

The game requires 3 distinct and natively available screen
resolutions to start ; 640x480 for the intro movie, 800x600
for the Options/Launcher screen, and finally [default setting]
1024x768 for the game window itself. The latter here, you can
change in the ingame graphics options, but the former 2 must
be available for the game to start. For a lot of us now with
widescreen 16:9/10 display hardware, this means running things
in windowed mode -- see tips&tricks if you need help with that.

Well that dind`t work for me....as well in a win98 or xp bottle.

Yo Paul!

Is that the Mac position/result you're referring to here? If so,
you should probably create a new forum thread related to the Mac
situation -- it makes the situation less confusing for other folks,
when they never think to look in the linux topic thread for the
Mac situation...or, because you've been so brief here and not all
people will realize you use Mac, might end up thinking what you're
saying is it didn't work on your linux box...

That all said, I'm surprised it didn't work for you...it was easy
to get going under linux and runs really well
