Game Freezes at exit

Running Ubuntu 20.10
Crossover 20.0.4

When exiting the game, it freezes and becomes unresponsive. The only way I have found around this is to use xkill to end the program. Apparently this bug has existed forever in WINE. Anyone know of any workaround for this? Otherwise the game seems to run flawlessly.
