3D acceleration enabled or disabled?

Hello all,

I just tried running this application using Crossover Games 8.1.3 (appropriately-named "Zombie Mallard"). On my Intel Centrino chipset (855GM graphics card), it freezes everything but the cursor (same as when I try to run some other 3D games). On another machine with an early mobile radeon card (I can't remember the model, but it is circa 2006 and is supported only by the "radeon" driver, not the proprietary one), it runs painfully slow with 3D acceleration, and just slowly (but playable) with it disabled in the options.

Do those giving "Gold" reports have 3D acceleration enabled or disabled? I'm trying to determine whether the issues are in Crossover/Wine or in the graphics drivers.

Does anyone know how to disable 3D acceleration with a launch option/registry key? It would be interesting to see if I can get it working on the 855GM by disabling 3D.

Thanks!

I use the Steam version, on Linux, with Nvidia but I can run it perfectly either with or without hardware accel. Obviously it's much smoother with the acceleration on, mind.
