Same reaction as 7.2.2 except send error report window appears saying "popcapgames1.exe" crashed
Odd thing is that I had it working under 7.2 cxg linux. In fact I took screenshots for this app on the steam version. But it's not working for me under cxg 8 ether.
Note there is another app submission for Plants vs. Zombies (steam edition).
