Launcher Problems w/Latest Patch

I am running Crossover Games 8.1.3 and it generally runs Perfect World well, but the latest patch has apparently broken the launcher. I opened the launcher to patch the game, but instead of having a functioning launcher, it was apparently a still image which resulted in a critical error after a period of time. What could be causing this? What's a possible solution?

I am using a Macbook Pro, 15-inch, OSX, version 10.6.8. 8 gigabytes of RAM.
