I downloaded Perfect World, but all I can see in the opening screen is boxes instead of test... Some of the buttons make it crash when I click on them, but I have no idea what they are because I can't read them...

Which version of CrossOver Games are you using? Are you using a Mac or a Linux system?
Are you running Perfect world international? Or the Malaysian or Chinese versions. The Malaysian and Chinese versions require different font packs to get the text to show up properly.
I'm using the trial version, I don't know what update or anything. And I downloaded Perfect World International from this site.
Oh and I'm using a mac. OSX 10.5.8
I'm experiencing the same thing to, so it would be helpful to receive an answer as to why this is happening for a mac user.
