PDF Annotator needs "Microsoft Ink Support" to be installed to work?

Hi, I'm trying to get my favorite PDF annotator program to work. It's called PDF Annotator by GRAHL software. I've installed various editions from the past decade, and basically all of them won't boot past the start screen because "Microsoft Ink Support" needs to be installed. I was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem? Thank you.

Version 2.0 from 2011 boots but you cannot annotate due to these services likely not being available.

I did a little research and apparently "Microsoft Ink" needs is an UWP app from Microsoft Store. Unfortunatelly there is no support for UWP using wine/Crossover yet.

I've found this: https://askubuntu.com/questions/1529/how-can-i-highlight-or-annotate-pdfs

Some suggest using native Linux programs like Okular or FoxItReader. Someone suggested to use PDF XChange Viewer. This last one is a Windows program that seems to run well on Crossover.

Good luck!
