Auto-type doesn't work

Perform Auto-type doesn't seem to work. It appears to be an issue of losing "focus" on the previous application that I'm trying to log into. I'm not sure where the "focus" ends up, though, since the login/password doesn't show up anywhere else. Otherwise, the app works fairly well.

CX Mac 8.0.0 on OS X 10.6.1
