I solved the problem of the table list not displaying. I did this by using a native commctl32.dll and commctrl.dll from a Windows95 (original upgrade) CD. I first tried a commctl32.dll from the WindowsXP SP2 installation that shares my PC with my SUSE linux 9.0 Iinstallation. I am using Crossover Office Standard, version 4.0. Note, the correct commctrl.dll is actually in one of the .cab files as kommctrl.dll. (You have to rename it to commctrl.dll. There is a commctrl.dll in one of the precopy*.cab files that apparantly is only used by the setup program. It doesn't work with commctl32.dll. Using the Windows 95 commctl32.dll and commctrl.dll, I still have a few minor glitches. The sort buttons at the top of the table list don't usually show, but if you click where they should be, they will appear while the left mouse button is down and the list will sort on the column you clidke on. The buttons also appear very briefly when the list updates. Also, in the table windows, the chat display window is apparently showing white text on a white background. If I select text with the mouse, it is visible. Otherwise it is invisible. Also, the background of the player name boxes is dark brown in Windows, but apparently transparent in Linux/Crossover. It rather difficult to read my own table balance, as it is yellow on a light tan background. The other players' boxes are in front of the dark brown chair (with the pictures of players turned off), so they are pretty easy to read. Apparently the wine commctrl32.dll doesn't fully implement the function that displays the table list. I don't have access to a Windows98 or ME commctl32.dll, so I don't know if that works. If I can find one, I might give it a try.
