Overwatch 2 Forum

As others have noted, a recent update by Blizzard means that Overwatch 2 no longer launches via Crossover. (Specifically, the Blizzard Launcher appears to be starting the game, but no Overwatch window appears and - after a few seconds - the button to launch the game reverts to its original state.)

Since I've just bought Crossover almost exclusively for the purpose of playing Overwatch, I'm keen to know when (I should say "if") a fix is implemented. I remain hopeful, but my question is: how will I know? Is there some sort of alert I can subscribe to so I will know to try again?

Unfortunately, a fix for this bug is out of our control. The Overwatch 2 update runs into a Rosetta bug, which we've reported to Apple :/ Hopefully there will be a fix in an upcoming macOS update.

How can I receive updates, in case the situation improves? E.g. if someone replies in this forum thread? I only saw your reply because I explicitly return here to check periodically.

In any case, I’m glad Apple have been made aware. Hoping for a fix 🤞

Hi there,

You can enter a support ticket, and if we get word Apple fixed this, we can update you. But we don't always get explicit notice when bugs are fixed, so it's possible a community member will report a fix first :)

There seriously isn't.

Currently running Overwatch 2 via Boosteroid, but I prefer running it using Crossover again.
