Hi,

it is a pity that Outcast (Appeal) does not work with crossover games or office.
The two or three cd version does not run it even does not install.

if you have an already installed two or three cd version and try to start it
with crossover games or office you will notice that it does not work, EVEN
if you use a nocd-patch for each version it does not start.

but there is a DVD-version that might be working with crossover games or office.

i sold my dvd-copy and so i am not able to test the dvd-version.

COULD ANYONE PLEASE TEST THE DVD-VERSION OF OUTCAST WITH CROSSOVER GAMES OR OFFICE.

PS: the dvd-version runs with linux and cedega.

I'm not sure in what way the DVD version would be different. But the CD version is reported to work under Wine with a few tweaks, so it should be able to run in Crossover as well. This is the game page on the Wine wiki.

You probably won't need to set the dll override as described, because Crossover has those already set probably, but the loader is the key to getting the game to start it seems.

please test it, i am not able to get any version to run.

The Outcast-DVD VErsion runs with WINE 1.3.1 (http://winebottler.kronenberg.org/)
But with the actual Version 1.1.35 it does not work anymore.
