The Crossover installation installs Origin in a Windows XP bottle. Under XP, Origin starts, but says that XP is no longer supported, requiring Windows 7 or later.
Installing Origin in a Windows 7 or 8 bottle, it won't start.
Under XP, I can't even try to install Battlefield 1 beta, because it requires a 64 bit OS.

Use a Windows XP bottle and it installs! :) Downloading Sims 4 for my kid now ... fingers crossed!
