version 1.13: installs and runs with Crossover office 4.1 out-of-the-box, with a few interface problems. However: it is workable.
version 1.41: installs and runs with Crossover office 4.1 out-of-the-box, but crashes after appr. a minute. Not workable.
version 2.0: does not install with Crossover office 4.1 out-of-the-box
Version 2 of the Online Bible seems to install normally until the end when it does not terminate like other programs.
The program does seem to try and verify and initialize the library modules when started from the menu but then seems to freeze. Something tells me that Codeweavers is close to making this program functional, however.
Maybe in the 4.2 release?

Version 2 still doesn't work (as 1.41 doesn't also). Version 1.13 is still the only version which works out of the box, currently with crossover 5.0.1.
I've emaild with the online bible guys. They don't believe that after version 1.13 something is broken in wine/online bible. A pity......
There is a good reason that this product is not supported under the MacIntosh platform, there is a version available for that platform. Unfortunately, the Windows and MacIntosh platforms are not file compatible. As for Linux, it would be great if the program had a native, X11 version for Linux, that was file compatible with either the Windows or Mac releases. There is a report that this program installs and runs under Wine 0.9.45, but I don't believe it as there are no confimational messages. Also, the fine folks at Online Bible have withdrawn the 1.x versions.

I was able to install the 2.10.8 version of this program under Darwine 0.9.48 supplied by mikesMassiveMess. This took setting WINEDEBUG and DISPLAY variables. After running the program for the first time, the program came up, but the buttons are not displayed properly nor do they work. However, I was able to read through several verses and was able to navigate through the top line menus. I was not able to open an additional window without causing the thread running the program to run at maximum CPU usage on an Intel Mac. Hopefully, this will be the start of support for this program. However, this program crashes, even when running in debug mode under CrossOver. This may be due to the difference in Wine versions.

On 25-10-2009 still no news; the current version of cxoffice only support fully until version 1.13
