Anyone have any luck getting sound out of Noteworthy Composer? Other than that it runs well for me - I can enter music directly, convert midi files to sheet music, and print just fine. Sure would be nice to get sound out of it, too.

You'll probably need to have a supported MIDI device in Linux for this.
Could you give more information about your soundcard (& driver)?
Check http://frankscorner.org/index.php?p=mid for Wine and midi support
There's a workaround in the Noteworthy Composer forums that works.

I am now a happy NWC user. It works fine.
With the new MIDI capabilities in Crossover for Macs (v6.2.0), Noteworthy Player is able to play MIDI files, so I imagine NoteWorthy Composer would work too.
It works for me with 6.2.0 and Leopard. Playback is great.
Note: there were two devices available in the Midi tab of the options dialog box; I successfully got playback when I selected "CoreAudio MIDI Synth 0" and not "Wine midi mapper"
