"This file has been modified by another program" - cannot click on yes/no

Is this a known problem and is there a workaround?

Notepad++ has to be killed to close it

Update: known problem (see "tips & tricks" tab). Possible workaround is to disable auto-reloading of files (don't know exactly where you can do that, but it can be done)

In OSX:
You can close the dialogs by right clicking the notepad++ in your Dock and select quit.

Set the file-reload notification to Silent (settings/misc)

This issue appears to be fixed on the latest version of Notepad++ (7.3.3) on the latest stable version of Crossover (16.1)
