Adam and I are working together to test Notepad++ on both Mac and Linux. Adam is testing on Mac and I on Linux. Our preliminary run through on both platforms using CrossOver 6.1.0 showed that although there were a couple of things not quite right, the vast majority of the program is working fine. We are going to get our testing scheme aligned and begin formal testing soon, after which we will file a bug report.
