Very strange keyboard layout with ChromeOS

I tested the application today on ChromeOS. I noticed that there are problems with the keyboard layout. On a German Chromebook, the keyboard layout is a combination of US keyboard and de-keyboard. At the beginning it's very funny, but it becomes unusable when writing PHP. Does anyone have any idea how to solve the problem?
