I was able to install Nokie Suite 3.8 without any issues, but when I tried to connect my phone to the computer, the software does not recognize that it is there. :(

USB devices, with very few exceptions, do not work in CrossOver. The only thing that works are drives and USB-to-serial converters. MacOS / Linux has to be able to talk to them, and for USB to serial converters you'll have to create a symlink in the bottle to link the device node to COMx. There are a number of posts in the forum on how to do this.
Even if you get a Windos drive letter or COM port for your device the application might not recognize it because it isn't marked as a USB device and does not have the correct vendor / device ID.
What's completely unsupported unfortunately is loading Windows device drivers to talk to the device.
