Running Mac OS X 10.6.4 with all the latest updates the game now seems to work! After installing version 1.0 from the CDs and adding msvcirt.dll to the /Windows/System folder in the bottle the game loaded find but there were a few graphical glitches and no sound in game - the intro movies had sound however.

I downloaded the 1.3 patch and used the Crossover games installer to apply this successfully to my install. I also used the tips on widescreengamingforum.com to edit the resolution to my native one as well as adjusting the FOV. The game now seems to run great without the glitches and with sound!

Just an update to say I played the single player through to completion without any real problems. This is almost a platinum title. The only feature that was missing (at least with my ATI card) was FSAA.
