The installer is designed so that the second disc must go in the same drive as the first, and there is no option to change this in the dialog box. Therefore it fails to install because it cannot find disc 2.

I've been able to run and install this game just fine (except for a few graphic aberrations, which aren't really that noticeable).
When the game asks for the second disc, you just press the 'eject' button and choose 'force eject'.
Then insert the second disc and complete the installation NOTE: The completion bar doesn't move whilst the second part is installing.
Afterwards I ran the 1.01 update patch by an 'advanced installation' to the same bottle and the copied over NOCD patches (available from the net somewhere).
Everything appears to run fine...
I have installed it under Crossover Games 8.0 on Snow Leopard.
