Just a quick note that the new Newsleecher 3.95 Beta 3 runs and works in Ubuntu 8.10 64bit with Crossover Pro 7.10. Also supersearch works fine as well. You no longer have to do anything special to get this to work. Just install it in a winxp bottle and go.
Hope you enjoy. This should be considered Gold now that all the issues have been resolved.
Doesn't work for me on Leopard 10.5.6 with Crossover 7.1
The error message is "Cannot open oreans.vxd driver [etc]"
Now that is a shame and a show stopper.

My sincerest apologies. Perhaps you can write to the developers of NewsLeecher asking them to release a version without nProtect?
Otherwise, the advice is the same, write a support ticket or send an email asking to be added to bug 4405. The bad news is that at this time we don't have a way around it.

However Newsleecher seems to work on Linux. Is this bug only related to the Mac version of Crossover ?
