Hey guys just wanted to give you a new heads up on Newsleecher 3.95 Beta 1. I just installed the new beta and while the old versions still don't run for me in Ubuntu Linux 8.04 the new beta does. I created a xp bottle for it and ran the installer and it installed like the others. I then double clicked on the icon on my desktop and it loaded and ran. It runs very fast when loading like in windows. I put in my server info and tested supersearch while running under the trial key selected some files and they started to download. So supersearch works fine too. I also imported a nzb file I had and that works. Haven't tested the automatic par checking and repair yet but it was working before at least for me.

So I would say this is now silver for Ubuntu Linux 8.04 users. The only problem I am having is when I try and enter my giganews info it brings up the window and I can put the info in but it wont let me click the register button. So that is the only problem I am having with the release.

Hey guys I just figured out that I was not entering my info correct for the giganews registration. I tried it again and it worked. So everything is working great and I am now showing a registered.

I am off now to test repair and extract and if it works I will be loving crossover office pro for linux.

Hey I am back and I just tested the built in repair and extract and it works great just like in windows. It checks and verifys everything and extracted them correctly too. So I would say this is now Silver rating for sure.

I can confirm that the new beta 3.95b1 does in fact function perfectly as expected in Crossover Linux 7.0.2.

No graphical corruption, no registration or SuperSearch issues, and downloading & repair work brilliantly.

If the final version of 3.95 line remains consistent, I'd elect this application for Gold Status.
