Using Crossover 5.0.3. Installation of latest of build (5.21 .7149) of this date posted went fine with no errors. To run the program you need to follow the steps of copying dlls from a Windows installation. I have added a how-to and other tips in 'known issues' and 'tips & tricks'.
Update to 5.3 with no errors. Remember to disable 'MOTD at startup' in utilities as this is re-enabled again.
edit: Minimize to tray feature does not work
I do not know if this happens to you, but if you do a clean install of Newsbin Pro 5.3, it might crash when it tries to load because of the popup user registration. Work around is to install a previous version i.e 5.21, register your copy and then update to 5.3.
