Neverwinter Nights Forum

Hi,

I installed the 313MB windows demo from http://www.3dgamers.com/games/neverwinternights/
And it has played just fine on my system so far.
The only thing i've noticed up to this point
is when I run nwconfig.exe it detects my video card as only having
16MB of RAM. I set the config to 800x600 -85Hz and if I run the "Test"
it shows a large multicolored rectangle and the test passes.

The setup didn't create desktop or start menu shortcuts for
this game so I had to cd to the install directory and run everything
from there.

Please note: I've only been playing this game for about 30min
now and there may be problems that ive not come across yet.

Here is what I have in my config.

[AppDefaults\\nwmain.exe\\x11drv]

I made a mistake about Neverwinter Nights "Demo" not making
desktop and start menu shortcuts. This was a error on my behalf
and after fixing it the shortcuts are now in place.

Beware to those who edit there registry by hand and without sleep
in two day's 😊
