NWN Diamond GOG Version and Multiplayer on Mac

I have gotten NWN running in a WinXP bottle on OS X 10.8.1 with CX 11.2.1. I can play single player with any of the modules just fine. However, when it comes to multiplayer, it crashes hard, on both servers that require haks and those that don't. Pretty much, you connect to a server, and it crashes.

This happens on a MacBook Pro C2D 2.5 GHz, 4GB of memory, and NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT 512 MB. Here is the crash report:

Unhandled exception: page fault on read access to 0x0000000c in 32-bit code (0x005c8231).

Anyone get multiplayer working fine?

Installed the game on my 2007 iMac running 10.8.1 and it seems to work perfectly. So, I tried archiving the bottle that I can get to run and connect to multiplayer servers and restoring it on my MacBook Pro that I tried earlier. The same bottle that worked on the other machine, still crashes at the same point on this one. For the most part, the software is exactly the same. The only difference is the hardware.

On the iMac that works, I'm also running CX 11.2.1 on Mountain Lion 10.8.1. Hardware is as follows: C2D 2.4 GHz, 4GB of memory, ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro with 256MB of vram.

Any insight?

Still having the same problem on Crossover 12 on OS X 10.8.2 on the same laptop. New bottle install, by the way.

It turns out it was something weird on my laptop. I formatted it when installing 10.9 Mavericks, and now I can join multiplayer servers again :).
