Neverwinter Nights: Diamond Edition Forum

I purchased a copy of NWN Diamond on GoG.com and am trying to use CrossOver to install/run it on my Mac OS (which has worked for every other game I've attempted). When using the CrossTie link on the overview tab of the NWN Diamond Edition page, I get the same error message every time:

Runtime Error (at 145:148):
Access violation at address 440C1763 in module 'gdiplus.dll'. Read of address 09216F3C

CrossOver is trying to install setup_nwn_diamond_2.0.0.15.exe
At some point during the bottling process, the CrossOver installer prompts asking for the next .bin file "Please specify the location of part 2 and click OK."
I choose the folder which holds setup_nwn_diamond_2.0.0.15-1.bin and setup_nwn_diamond_2.0.0.15-2.bin and click OK

Moments later I get the error message which ends the installation process. I'm using a 2009 MacBook Pro, 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT 512 MB, OS 10.8.5

Any suggestions about what I can do to rectify this error? Skipping the step in the installation process doesn't seem to help, and at this point I've done everything I can think of. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know if this has been answered or not, but make sure the executable and both .bin files are in the same directory. Mine installed just fine, but when I go to play and create a character, as soon as I hit 'customize' on the character creation screen it freezes. I tried using a premade character, but as soon as I try to start the game with one it freezes as well. :(

The crosstie on linux installs just NWN, none of the necessary support things. I have been completely unable to get the game to even launch.

This may be due to either that, or the fact I'm trying to launch through NWNCX With Bumblebee.
