Crashes Upon Loading

Installed the game from the installer just fine. When trying to run the program, the program icon will show up in the OS X dock for a few seconds then disappear (crashing). I know that according to the Nestalgia page, the game does require DX9, which I did have installed into the same bottle (XP). Any assistance anyone can give me in getting this to run would be appreciated.
