simple as that. the installer doesnt even name itself properly. it pops up as some sort of generic installer name.

Which distribution did you check here? Disc based or something else?Cheers!
I used the Steam version to install. Currently it barfs after the intro movie after starting career mode for me. Not sure if there is a setting that I am setting or not unsetting correctly. Will post back with more info shall I get this to run.
