Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 Forum

I just tried NFS HP2, it runs, but it's unable to find the screen geometry ceasing it to be the right high, but not the right width.
I'm guessing it's just scaling everything to fit the hight, but keeps the actual aspect ratio of the file.

the intro video's are small and the rest of the game falls half of the screen.

the textures also don't work properly, I get the game using half only the models and half also load the textures.
it's playable, but not easy, and it's hard to see the value's of the settings (they should be on the right, which falls of screen)

any ideas on how to fix it?
would be nice to be able to play it normally, it does run other then the strange appearance.
it at first does say that NFHP2.exe had a fatal error and has to stop, but the game does load after that.

Is this still an issue?

Also, did you have to install any dependencies to get the game to work?

In the other thread, someone said that it works with low settings. I would believe this to be true if I could get it to work other than with a white screen.

The only dependencies that it should need include Microsoft XML Parser 3.0 and Internet Explorer 7.
